[ Opening Ceremony of Shenzhen International ]

The opening ceremony of Shenzhen International 2016 was held in the Universiade Center of Shenzhen, declaring the advent of the gold medal event representing the spirit of Shenzhen. At the opening ceremony, "Monkey King", a zodiac symbol of China's monkey year and "Hui-Hui", the mascot of the event incarnated into a model of Peking opera staged a performance and attracted thunderous applauds from the audience. And a ceremony was also held at the site with Bubba Watson who is ranked 4th in the world, Li Haotong, a new golf star of China, Liang Rongyin, a legend of Asia, Aphibarnrat, champion of the first Shenzhen International and Thorbjorn Olesen, a player of Denmark, which pushed the atmosphere at the site to a climax.
